The Real Presence website was started in November 2022, and launched on January 01, 2023, as a small attempt to circulate as widely as possible, the valuable little booklet and beautiful affirmation of the real presence of Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist explained by Father James B. Buckley, FSSP. When we started building the site, it soon became evident that it was possible to include more knowledge concerning the real presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist, and that, since the information was already available, it would be a small task—we only had to do the research and make absolutely certain that we transcribed all the texts accurately.

Further, and to the best of our ability, it was imperative to design an unmistakably Catholic website that adheres to the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church and her magisterium, while maintaining a strong traditional aspect and deep reverence for Our Eucharistic Lord. The idea was to make this site as beautiful as possible, that in some tiny way, would reflect the magnificent and unmatchable beauty of the “Usus Antiquior or the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite…the liturgy of the Catholic Church which was in widespread use before the New Order of Mass was introduced in 1969.”¹

If we could manage to accomplish all this, with the blessing of Our Lady, then we would indeed have something to offer for the greater glory of God.

To add even more to this project, we copied in full, the book: “The Blessed Eucharist, Our Greatest Treasure” by Father Michael Müller, C.S.S.R., published in 1880. That was fun!

We hope the information gathered on this website, which is now easily accessible, will help us to deepen our belief, love, reverence and respect for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in the Holy Eucharist.
